We are seeking a Cabinetry Service Technician to join our Cabinetry team. This hands-on role is ideal for a skilled problem-solver with cabinetry and finish carpentry experience who enjoys working directly with customers, identifying solutions, and delivering exceptional service.
The Cabinetry Service Technician is responsible for evaluating, troubleshooting, and resolving cabinetry service concerns related to Zuern cabinetry projects. This role serves as a field representative of Zuern, working closely with homeowners, builders, contractors, designers, and internal teams to identify root causes, recommend solutions, and complete repairs or adjustments as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate cabinetry service requests and determine appropriate corrective actions for issues within Zuern's scope of responsibility.
2. Serve existing and new customer accounts by analyzing cabinetry work orders, planning daily travel schedules, investigating service concerns, and resolving issues.
3. Inspect field conditions, identify root causes of cabinetry concerns, and recommend practical solutions.
4. Perform cabinetry repairs, adjustments, modifications, and finish carpentry work to restore products to quality standards.
5. Install or replace trim, fillers, panels, moldings, hardware, and other cabinetry components as required.
6. Order and gather cabinetry components, materials, and replacement parts needed to complete service work.
7. Perform cabinetry field measurements and communicate findings with cabinetry designers and project teams.
8. Maintain professional rapport with customers and team members by addressing concerns, communicating expectations, and providing exceptional customer service.
9. Document service actions, field findings, completed work, and customer interactions through forms, reports, logs, and records.
10. Assist with showroom displays, cabinetry demonstrations, product organization, and showroom upkeep as needed.
11. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities across all cabinetry product lines.
12. Assist the Window Service team with shop projects including window mulling, jamb extensions, and other specialty modifications as workload and scheduling demands require.
