Join Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium team as a Zooventure Guide! This exciting career development pathway program is designed for teens who have completed 9th, 10th, and 11th grades and are interested in learning about conservation, education, and wildlife. Zooventure Guides will engage zoo guests through our free and fun Zooventure program by facilitating interactive conservation-themed activities. In addition to directly engaging with zoo guests, Zooventure Guides will also participate in workshops and training sessions designed to develop valuable job skills and explore careers within the conservation and nonprofit sectors. It’s the best of both worlds – gain valuable knowledge and skills on the job, while receiving guidance and support from zoo staff and educators. This is a part-time position with Guides working three guest engagement shifts per week - Thursdays through Sundays. Additionally, Zooventure Guides will attend a career exploration and skills workshop session on Wednesday or Saturday of each week. This position reports directly to the Zooventure Coordinator.
