Job Description

SUMMARY
Zipline Supervisor will lead guests on zipline tours. The tour consists of a combination of hiking, aerial ziplines and suspension bridges. Competed Lead Guide and Tour Guide training and the required hours to complete both. Must be able to perform and coordinate all evacuations, rescues or emergent situations in a professional manner unaided. Must be proficient at scheduling labor and use of all reservation system.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Guides will visually inspect all elements of zipline tour, zipline gear for damage or other defects prior to guest arrival
• All safety gear will be properly stored and inspected for damage
• Guides will fit guests with harness, helmets and appropriate zipline equipment
• Guide will direct guests on hiking and the zipline tour
• Provide excellent customer service to guests, property owners, homeowners and fellow employees
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
• Guides will drive guests to the start of zipline course and pick up guests at the end of the tour.
• Help manage reservations and schedule labor as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Be able to teach all aspects of Tamarack Zipline Training.
• Complete at least 1 season as Lead Guide.
• Must enjoy working and interacting with the public
• Must have great customer service skills and ability to work with train and evaluate employees on an ongoing basis.
• Must be highly organized, energetic, positive attitude, and the ability to get the job done.
• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Capable of maintaining a positive & professional attitude among your team.
• Clear communication skills, both verbal and written
• Highly responsible and reliable.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous work experience in the outdoors and/or recreation

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Requires possession of valid Driver License with a driving record meeting the minimum standards required by the resort insurance carrier. Must have own reliable mode of transportation.
