Lead operations and scale a fast-growing UK content agency as Senior Ops Manager.
£3,000–£4,000 | Full-time | UK timezone
We're Jamal and Ali, the founders of Your Social Currency - a fast-growing social media agency working with some of the biggest founders, entrepreneurs, and CEOs in the UK.
Our team helps high-level personal brands create content that actually performs - from raw footage all the way through to publishing and growth. We're building something serious, and we're proud of the calibre of clients we work with and the results we deliver.
We care about clean execution just as much as creative quality, and we're building a team of switched-on people who feel the same way. If that sounds like your kind of environment, you'll fit right in!
We’re looking for a Senior Operations Manager.
This is a high-level strategic leadership position, not an execution-heavy or admin role. As Jamal and Ali step back from day-to-day operations, you will essentially run the operational engine of the business, leading systems, strategy, and accountability across the agency.
You will architect and optimise agency workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), AI-driven automations, and financial oversight. You won't be doing the task-level delivery work yourself—instead, you'll manage and empower our Account Managers and production team leads to deliver exceptional results reliably.
You will serve as the final point of escalation for operational or client delivery issues before they ever reach the founders. Your goal is to build an autonomous, scalable business structure that runs smoothly without founder friction.
You are the operational leader ensuring the business operates with complete stability, profitability, and accountability.
“How do we automate this?” / “Is this process scalable?” / “Are our margins healthy?” / “How do I empower my team to solve this without me?” …then you’ll thrive in this role.
📋 Design and oversee scalable operational systems and agency-wide SOPs
🤖 Implement AI tools and custom workflow automations to eliminate manual overhead
👥 Lead, manage, and hold Account Managers accountable for client health and team delivery
💰 Oversee operational finances, resource allocation, software costs, and delivery margins
🛡️ Serve as the final escalation buffer for high-level risks before they reach founders
🔄 Optimize end-to-end workflows from client onboarding through to ongoing retention
📅 Lead strategic operational reviews and high-level leadership alignment meetings
📈 Forecast capacity needs and plan recruitment strategy alongside company growth
🧹 Drive operational excellence, governance, and accountability culture cross-functionally
⚡ Enable the founders to focus on strategic vision while you run day-to-day operations
This is a full-time role aligned with UK hours (9am–5pm, Monday to Friday).
✅ 3–7+ years of operations leadership experience in small to mid-sized agency environments
✅ Proven track record of designing SOPs, scaling systems, and driving organizational accountability
✅ High fluency with AI tools, workflow automation platforms (e.g. Make, Zapier), and modern tech stacks
✅ Experience managing leaders and Account Managers rather than direct execution staff
✅ Strong financial oversight skills (margins, budgeting, capacity planning, cost management)
✅ Exceptional executive communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities
✅ Decisive leadership style with the confidence to run the company operations autonomously
⭐ Direct experience in fast-moving social media, video content, or creative production agencies
⭐ Experience aiding founder transition from operational management to strategic guidance
This role is a great fit for someone who dislikes vague ownership, messy processes, and unfinished loops.
The kind of person who naturally asks: who owns this, when is it due, and what’s blocking progress?
Someone who stays calm under pressure while still creating urgency when needed, and who brings structure to fast-moving environments without creating confusion or drama.
You won’t wait for problems to become obvious before stepping in. You spot risks early, keep things moving, and take pride in clean execution, clear communication, and smooth operations.
If managing lots of moving parts at once sounds energising rather than overwhelming, this role will likely feel very natural to you!
