About the position

Frankston City Council is seeking a passionate Youth Worker to support the delivery of programs, activities and events that empower young people to connect, participate and thrive. Working as part of the Frankston Youth Services team, you will help create safe, inclusive and engaging opportunities for young people across the community.

The main responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver engaging youth programs and activities, supporting young people to participate, connect and have a voice in shaping programs and events.
  • Build positive relationships with young people, community partners and local services, providing support, information, referrals and opportunities for engagement.
  • Contribute to the effective operation of Youth Services, including administration, record keeping, promotion of programs, data collection and teamwork.

About you

As the successful candidate you will have:

  • Relevant experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A minimum Certificate IV in Youth Work, Community Services, Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs, or a related field.
  • A current Victorian Driver's License
