Job Description

Responsible, together with the Program Manager and Site Administrator, for implementing youth programs at the local level.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing a site work plan for the program.
  • Building relationships with residents, local merchants, courts, police, schools, and other community organizations.
  • Linking youth with needed services and opportunities in the neighborhood.
  • Participating in scheduled trainings, workshops, staff and supervisor meetings.
  • Maintaining records and documents, including individual service plans for program participants; sit on various local boards as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Minimum Entrance Qualifications

  • Two (2) years of experience working with urban youth required.
  • Experience in program development and implementation preferred.
  • Good mediation, facilitation, and listening skills.
  • Good oral and written English skills.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and focus on detail as required by the job.
  • Must have and maintain a current Massachusetts driver's license.

C.O.R.I. & S.O.R.I Check Required.

BOSTON RESIDENCY REQUIRED.
