Soccer Shots is an engaging children's soccer program with a focus on character development.  Our caring team positively impacts children's lives on and off the field through best-in-class coaching, curriculum, and communication. We specialize in programs for children ages 2 through 12 years old and are dedicated to providing high-quality, foundational soccer training that prepares children for a lifetime of soccer.

We are looking for caring and engaging coaches who can work a minimum of once per week and can commit to at least 8 weeks of the same day/time.  We have weekend and weekday evening programs that meet at parks across the city.  Soccer Shots programs are offered during select weeks of the year; thus, employment is seasonal.  All employment is at-will.  

Available Shifts: 
Monday through Friday 8:45am-12pm
Monday through Friday 2:30pm-4:30pm 
Monday through Friday 4pm-7pm
Saturday + Sunday 845am-1pm OR 2-5pm
*must be able to commit to 8-10 weeks of the same time/day*

MUST RESIDE IN Colorado Springs!

Though we continue to grow, we are still a family business at heart.  We aim to develop each of our coaches in areas including leadership, early childhood education, and sports management.

Requirements

• Must love impacting children and the game of soccer. 
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Experience working with young children
• Must be at least 18 years of age.  
• Soccer playing or coaching background (preferred)
• Must be able to pass a background check

ResponsibilitiesIt is a coach's responsibility to manage and direct all duties related to the operation of a Soccer Shots session, including, but not limited to, the following:
Preparation

• Attends coaches meeting at beginning of season.
• Reviews online curriculum (prepared for you ahead of time, and aligned with Colorado state early education standards).
• Maintains equipment in proper condition and arrives on time to set-up field for session.

Coaching

• Ensures the safety and well-being of every child.
• For childcare sites, gathers children from classroom and returns after session (note: for public location, no pick-up/drop-off required).
• Follows proper on-site protocol for each location, as prepared and provided by Soccer Shots supervisor.
• Conducts fun and positive 30 to 45-minute sessions, following the weekly Soccer Shots curriculum.
• Highly responsible, reliable, and ENERGETIC!

Communication/Administration

• Communicates in a timely fashion with supervisor about any changes, challenges, or important information.
• Completes online attendance sheet for each session.
• Submits time sheet per payroll policy.
• Returns equipment and leftover supplies to supervisor upon completion of each season.
