This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

Do you love staying active, being outdoors, and mentoring youth who thrive under strong, structured leadership? If you want to put your experience to great use while having fun in the community, this is the role for you! We are seeking a calm, non-reactive, and highly active individual to support a young boy in Menomonie, WI.

If you are decisive, excellent at setting firm boundaries, and love high-energy outdoor activities like bike riding, rollerblading, fishing, working out, or even baking/cooking, we would love to hear from you!

Schedule & Pay
Location: Menomonie, WI
o Care can be provided in the child's home, the provider's home, alongside active community outings in safe, calm, and low-stimulation environments.
Schedule:
o Weekdays: 1:00 PM-5:00 PM
o Weekends: 2 weekends per month, 10:00 AM-3:00 PM
Hourly Pay: $17.66/hr (25hrs/week)
 
About The Child
He is an active, hands-on boy who thrives when he is moving and loves helping out.
Enjoys:
o High-Energy Activities: Bike rides, swimming/water activities, going to parks, rollerblading, fishing, and going to the gym to work out.
o Helping & Learning: He loves to help with chores, enjoys cooking and baking, and loves to take things apart and put them back together.
o Quiet Time: While he isn't big on being indoors, he does enjoy puzzles, computer games, and iPad time when it is time to wind down.
Key Dynamics: He does best with clear, structured guidelines. 
 
Responsibilities
Plan & participate in physically active outings (parks, fishing, bike riding) that revolve around his favorite interests.
Provide close, constant supervision, as he has difficulty recognizing unsafe situations. Ensure outings remain in calm, low-stimulation environments (avoiding heavy crowds).
Set firm, clear, and calm boundaries
Provide bathroom reminders every 3 hours
Provide frequent reminders to hydrate and eat snacks 
Support his afternoon routine
Administer medications
 
Requirements
Prior experience working with children who have trauma, autism, or behavioral challenges.
Physically active, decisive, calm under pressure, and highly capable of setting and maintaining strong boundaries.
Valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
