Work directly with elementary school age children under the guidance of our recreation team leads. You will have the opportunity to develop your customer service skills, and aid the Youth Recreation Team leads.

Provide program instruction and/or patron supervision in recreation programs and facilities under the supervision and direction of other staff.

School-year job hours are:
Weekends and evenings are free. Opportunities vary for working on no-school days and during the summer.

Works under the general supervision of a supervisor. Receives ongoing and specific direction from lead and supervisory staff. Carries out work with some independence but work and decisions are typically reviewed prior to final execution.

Bend Park & Recreation District maintains and operates more than 2,700+ acres of developed and undeveloped parkland. That includes 81 parks/open spaces and 65 miles of trail.
