About Central Rock Gym
Central Rock Gym isn’t just a climbing gym — it’s a community-powered space where confidence is built, limits are challenged, and everyone is welcome. From first-time climbers nervously tying in to seasoned athletes projecting hard routes, CRG is a place where people come to grow — physically, mentally, and socially.
Our gyms are vibrant, high-energy environments that combine world-class climbing with fitness, youth programs, and a strong sense of belonging. What truly sets us apart isn’t just the walls — it’s the people who create the experience every day.
The Youth Programs & Competitive Team Director provides strategic leadership and hands-on coaching for all youth climbing programs, including recreational classes, developmental teams, and competitive athletes. This role is responsible for creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where climbers of all ages and abilities can develop confidence, technical skills, and a lifelong passion for climbing.
The Director oversees seasonal programming, curriculum development, staff hiring and training, scheduling, parent communication, and competitive team operations. They lead by example through exceptional coaching, foster a culture centered on community, grit, and growth, and ensure all youth programming reflects CRG's commitment to safety, athlete development, and exceptional member experiences.

Central Rock Gym provides the highest quality indoor climbing experience for beginner to advanced climbers. Our route setting, friendly staff and cleanliness give you the ability to train your hardest and push yourself to the limit, while the community of climbers will provide a great source of fun, and a place to engage with others.
Our rock wall designs are state of the art and include the best top-roping, leading, and bouldering around. Walltopia and Rockwerx have worked in some of the best slabs, lead arches, aretes, beginner areas and steep slopes that any gym has seen, while maintaining open areas for competition viewing and relaxation between climbs.
In addition to our climbing, we offer exercise equipment, a weight training area, yoga, and comfortable areas for parents to watch and relax with wireless internet. We host incredible group events and have the multifunctional spaces to provide food and refreshments.
