Youth Facility Supervisor 2 - Living Unit Manager (Multiple Positions)

Woodburn, OR – MACLAREN YOUTH CORRECTIONAL FACILITY

In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to lead and manage the daily operations of a 24/7 close custody living unit, while also playing an integral part in our facility's leadership team. Your responsibilities will involve overseeing the care, supervision, control, and rehabilitation of adjudicated youth and those from the Department of Corrections within a secure correctional environment. Our aim is to foster a living unit culture and environment deeply rooted in a developmental approach, achieved through the implementation and maintenance of fundamental practices. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of both the living unit and the facility as a whole, giving you valuable experience in management and service excellence.

This position provides leadership and oversight within a closed-custody living unit serving up to 16 youth. The role is responsible for establishing a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment while guiding the day-to-day functioning of the unit. The position also provides leadership and support to direct-care staff through coaching, training, mentorship, and performance management. A key focus of the role is fostering a treatment-focused milieu that promotes safety, accountability, positive behavior, and progress toward individualized treatment goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Four Years of lead work, supervision, or progressively related experience;

OR

• one year of related experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Special Qualifications:

Driving is an essential function of this position. A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record are required for this position. We will conduct pre-employment driving records checks on our final candidate(s).
