
We are urgently seeking a compassionate, experienced, and proactive Disability Support Workers to join our team in Southside Canberra. This rewarding opportunity involves supporting a young participant living with complex disabilities and behavioural support needs, helping them build independence, engage safely within the community, and achieve meaningful personal goals in a structured and supportive environment.
Our client is a young male participant living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (Level 3), Mild Intellectual Disability, ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Language Disorder, Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), and Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) Type E, which impacts balance, coordination, and physical endurance.
He enjoys practical hands-on activities, cooking, sports, humour, structured routines, and community participation. The ideal support worker will be calm, confident, patient, and able to provide consistent support while maintaining clear professional boundaries.
