  • Maintain active supervision and a safe, healthy, and welcoming Clubhouse environment.
  • Support positive behaviour, conflict resolution, and youth development.
  • Complete attendance, participation, incident, and other required programme documentation.
  • Follow BGCWPA safety standards, organisational policies, and applicable PA DHS requirements.

  • Assist Clubhouse leadership with planning, implementing, and evaluating programmes and activities.
  • Support daily Clubhouse operations, schedules, youth, and families.
  • Assist with PA DHS Chapter 3270 documentation and compliance.
  • Support safety procedures, required drills, transportation, and programme requirements.
  • Help provide day-to-day leadership and support to the Clubhouse team.

What We're Looking For

  • A high school diploma or GED and applicable experience working with children.
  • A passion for working with youth and creating engaging, meaningful experiences.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced youth development environment.
  • Interest or experience in areas such as STEAM, arts, athletics, mentoring, recreation, or leadership programming.

Candidates with additional relevant education, youth development experience, programme leadership, or operational experience may be considered for the Youth Development Manager level.

Compensation

This position may be filled at either level based on experience and qualifications:

  • Youth Development Professional: $17.00–$23.30/hour
  • Youth Development Manager: $19.00–$26.00/hour
