Position Type: Part Time
Salary Range: $13.50 - $15.50 Hourly

As a Daytime Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in caring for infant, toddler or preschool children in a licensed childcare and preschool center environment.

Your responsibilities will include being a positive role model for the children and assuring quality care. This involves overseeing their feeding, playtime, educational activities, rest periods and bathroom breaks. Must be dedicated to upholding child safety by adhering to safety and security procedures. Providing active observation and effective communication with Teachers and parents to contribute to the overall quality of our services.
Part Time Shifts Available, Monday-Friday:
- 9:00 am-2:00 pm
- Noon-6:00 pm
- 4:00 pm-6:00 pm

QualificationsWe are seeking individuals who embody the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Prior experience working in an early childhood or educational setting is a plus. CPR & First Aid Certification and Child Abuse prevention training will be completed within 90 days of hire and are provided by the YMCA.
