The North Brooklyn YMCA is
seeking a Youth Coach/Trainer who will be responsible for leading a group or team of children/teens
and teaching them progressive skill development in a designated sport. The
Youth Coach/Trainer will promote the enjoyment of sports while improving
physical competence, developing confidence, teaching healthy competition, and
skill development. The overall major functions of the Youth Coach/Trainer
also include:
Skills & Experience
required.
of experience coaching children/teens sports in a structured setting. Experience working with teens in a group setting.
respective sport is preferred. Content expert in the designated sport(s).
Online and the Child Abuse Prevention Certificates within thirty (30) days of hire.
Discrimination, and Retaliation, Cybersecurity Awareness, and Active Assailant online training courses within thirty (30) days of hire.
available to work Saturday evenings.
