About the role

As an NDIS Youth Assistant, you will:
- Deliver engaging group and 1:1 training to build skills and confidence
- Support participants to achieve employment, independence, and social goals
- Create and tailor workshops to suit diverse learning needs
- Provide end-to-end support including training, workplace, and community activities
- Work closely with Youth and Workplace Consultants to support participant progress
About you
You’re passionate about helping young people succeed and thrive.
You will bring:
- Creativity and motivation to design engaging workshops
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence working with diverse abilities and behaviours
- Resilience and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Good computer skills
- Have roster flexibility and available to work weekends
- Understanding of the NDIS (desirable)
- Experience or qualifications in Community Services, Education, Youth Work (desirable)
What you’ll need
- A genuine passion for supporting disadvantaged individuals
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to meet targets and KPIs
- Life experience or relevant work experience (formal qualifications not essential)
