What will the role look like?
The purpose of this role is to develop and deliver group work to young people across Leeds, to educate them on issues related to alcohol and drug use. The postholder will lead on promoting involvement, engagement and peer support for young people in Forward Leeds. This will include creating opportunities for young people's participation and facilitating events and projects.
What we are looking for?
The role will involve planning and delivering groups, activities and tailored packages of support. It will require specific skills around organisation, creativity and building positive relationships with young people.
The use of artificial intelligence (AI) generated answers is discouraged. The use of AI may affect the depth and understanding that is required, to demonstrate successful answers to experience and knowledge based questions, in our shortlisting process. Barca-Leeds uses Humans to shortlist for interview.

We support people struggling with housing issues, finances, physical and mental health problems. Our services are also geared towards children, young people and adults affected by domestic abuse, drug and alcohol issues, as well as people struggling with employment or education.
