Hiring Range

$16.80 - $21.83/Hourly Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.

Overview

Yoga Instructor is a fitness and wellness professional who leads others in yoga. They teach other how to perform the various stretching poses, practice meditation and promote mindfulness in addition to overall wellbeing.

What you will do

• Instructor is genuinely friendly and concerned for the members well-being. He/she interacts positively with at least 3 members before, during or after class and uses their name when appropriate.
• Instructor teaches safe and effective classes formatted to the class description. The instructor refrains from using contraindicated movements and shows modifications throughout the class. Instructor is prepared to teach and maintains a level of fitness appropriate to teach assigned classes.
• Instructor is able to handle customer relation issues in a professional manner while not getting personally involved. The instructor relays all information to manager and completes appropriate documentation.
• Lead others on proper breathing techniques and poses

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or GED, (Preferred)

Experience

• 1 year Teaching experience (Preferred)

Licenses and Certifications

• Certified Auto External Defibrillator (AED) - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) Upon Hire(Required)
• Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) - Yoga Alliance Upon Hire(Required)
