As a Swim Instructor at our YMCA, you'll have the opportunity to help students of all ages learn to swim in a fun and safe environment.

Group Swim Lesson Sessions and Private Swim Lessons Available
Private Swim Lesson Instructors set their own schedule and earn $27.50 per hour for Private Swim Lessons!
Qualifications: We are looking for someone who displays the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. We provide an excellent YMCA Swim Instructor training program--(Water Safety Instructor (WSI) or Lifeguard Certification not required). CPR & First Aid Certification and Child Abuse prevention training courses must be completed within 90 days of hire and are provided by the YMCA. This position is open to candidates ages 16 and older.

The First International Bank & Trust Family Splash Center at the YMCA opened in April 2019. The warm water, renovated pool will offer water slides and play features, swim lessons, fitness classes and lap swim, therapeutic jets for hydro therapy, and Birthday Party program & space.
