Job Description

The purpose of the Yield Analyst role is to maximise revenue through a customer‑centric approach, ensuring the commercial proposition meets customer needs across core B2C products. The role is responsible for yield optimisation of Dublin Airport’s Business‑to‑Consumer portfolio, including Car Parks, Fast Track, and Executive Lounges, delivering a revenue budget of approximately €100m in 2025. The role requires a highly focused ambition to drive business and team performance by unlocking opportunities for revenue growth, operational efficiency, and an enhanced customer and passenger experience through advanced analytics and data‑driven decision‑making.

The key responsibilities for the Yield Analyst role include:

  • Manage yield optimisation across the B2C portfolio, maximising revenue through proactive yield management and positioning Dublin Airport as an industry leader.

  • Develop and embed yield management processes for DATs products, including inventory control, online pricing management, and detailed sales reporting.

  • Build a deep understanding of multiple data sources, including:

  • Translate these insights into actionable recommendations, pricing decisions, marketing KPIs, and sales forecasts to increase market share and revenue performance.

  • Customer behaviour and segmentation (high‑value vs high‑volume)

  • Demand vs availability for time‑limited resources

  • Seasonality patterns and price sensitivity thresholds

  • Website sessions, conversion rates, and digital performance

  • Historical sales and inventory data

  • Perform deep‑dive analytical reviews across the B2C portfolio to identify opportunities for revenue growth, operational efficiencies, and improved customer and passenger experience.

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of analytics solutions, including problem definition, data exploration and visualisation, model development, evaluation, and deployment.

  • Work closely with business units to translate commercial challenges into effective analytics solutions.

  • Drive the adoption of advanced analytics through leadership and innovation, ensuring insights are actively used to improve B2C business performance.

  • Develop a price elasticity tool for Fast Track and Lounges to model the impact of price changes on demand and revenue.

  • Ensure analytics outputs are clear, accessible, and business‑friendly, including the preparation and delivery of:

  • Monthly sales performance reports

  • Presentations outlining insights from successful and unsuccessful tactics

  • Perform data preparation and cleansing where required to ensure data quality and integrity.

  • Use data to inform, influence, and lead campaign decisions, generating and implementing creative ideas that drive revenue growth, increase market share, and improve customer experience.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders, motivating and delivering results through cross‑functional collaboration.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in B2C yield management or a closely related commercial analytics role

Skills

  • Strong engagement and collaboration skills, working effectively with data scientists, business analysts, and subject matter experts to develop impactful insights and solutions.

  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Creative and innovative thinker, capable of solving complex problems with ambiguity and no obvious solutions.

  • Proven experience delivering analytical deep dives on key business topics.

  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications.

  • Experience with data visualisation tools desirable (e.g. Power BI, Tableau).

  • Experience with advanced analytics tools desirable but not essential (e.g. R, Python, SQL).

  • Demonstrates integrity and accountability, which are core values of the B2C Analyst Team.

  • Acts as a key contributor across the Commercial and B2C teams.

Education & Qualifications

Third level degree or Masters in relevant field of study - mathematics, computer science, statistics, operations research.
