
In his Hybrid role, you will work in our Central Ohio office every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, then work from home using our provided resources on Mondays and Fridays.
PURPOSE
As a Yardi Technical Analyst at National Church Residences, you will provide hands-on support for our Yardi Voyager and RentCafé platforms, ensuring system stability, data integrity, and user satisfaction. You will be engaging in system configuration, troubleshooting, reporting, and integration support, with a focus on Affordable Housing compliance and operational efficiency. In this collaborative role, you will work closely with the Application Manager Yardi and stakeholders across departments to implement enhancements and improve processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Configure and maintain Yardi Voyager and RentCafé systems, including property setup, user roles, and security
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for Yardi users, resolving technical issues and managing helpdesk tickets
Monitor and maintain data integrity across Yardi modules, including compliance-related data for HUD and LIHTC programs
Support integrations between Yardi and other systems using SQL, Yardi ETL, and Microsoft Fabric or similar tools
Develop and maintain custom reports using Yardi Spreadsheet Reporter (YSR), SQL, and other reporting tools
Assist with testing and deployment of Yardi upgrades, patches, and new module implementations
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement system enhancements
Document processes, configurations, and data flows to support internal controls and audit readiness
Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute to training and user adoption efforts

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Yardi Voyager (7S or newer) and RentCafé in a technical or support role
Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and report development preferred
Experience with Yardi ETL processes and system integrations preferred
Understanding of property management and accounting workflows
Skills:
Experience with RentCafe and other Yardi modules (e.g., PayScan, Maintenance)
Familiarity with Affordable Housing compliance workflows (HUD, LIHTC, TRACS)
Knowledge of additional Yardi modules (e.g., Maintenance IQ, PayScan, Construction Manager) are preferred
Background in process improvement or automation
Must have good working computer skills with basic professional computer software (Microsoft Office suite, Windows, etc.) and the capacity for learning new software systems quickly.
Must be self-directed with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks and assignments concurrently.
Must be able to successfully lead others in an environment of complexity.
Must have strong motivational skills and a high emotional intelligence quotient (EQ)
Must have excellent communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to speak, read, write and understand English, as well as the ability to make self-understood.
Travel: Rare, up to 5%
Licensure:
Yardi certification or formal training in Voyager system administration (preferred)
ITIL Foundation or similar service management certification (preferred)
