• Yard Operative (with Shunting Duties)
• St Mary Bourne | • Full Time | 4 on 4 off (06:00–18:00)
• £14.31 per hour, paid to you monthly

We’re looking for a reliable and proactive Yard Operative to join our Distribution & Logistics team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll keep our yard running smoothly, safely, and efficiently •
With shunting duties included, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, working outdoors, and being part of a key operational team.

• What You’ll Be Doing
• Safely load and unload vehicles in line with company procedures
• Shunt trailers around site, including intake and dispatch bays
• Manage and move crates, pallets, and dolavs across site
• Operate equipment such as FLT and JCB/rotator
• Carry out waste management and disposal tasks
• Keep the yard clean, organised, and safe at all times
• Conduct stock counts of crates, pallets, and materials
• Support the wider site with bins, housekeeping, and general yard duties

✅ What We’re Looking For
• A team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures accurately
• Strong awareness of health & safety standards
• Comfortable working in an outdoor environment

• Skills & Experience
• Previous experience in a similar yard or logistics role
• Counterbalance FLT licence (essential)
• Shunter experience or full driving licence
• Experience operating machinery (e.g. JCB) is advantageous
