About Ocean Steel
Incorporated in 1955, Ocean Steel services several markets, including Atlantic Canada, the Eastern United States, Bermuda and the Caribbean. Although they specialize in fabricating and erecting structural steel for buildings and bridges, they also manufacture and install platework, such as breechings, stacks, ducts, penstocks, process & storage tanks and custom process-equipment. Ocean Steel’s two New Brunswick plants include the original location in Saint John, as well as the York Steel Plant in Fredericton, which was acquired by Ocean Steel in 1995.

As a member of the OSCO Construction Group, Ocean Steel & Construction Ltd. offers a comprehensive compensation package beginning after completing forty-five (45) working shifts, including seniority with Shopman’s Local Unit No.809, overtime hours worked paid at time & a half; double time on weekends, health and dental coverage, life insurance and RRSP options.
