Allclass is a trusted Kubota and Merlo dealership with a strong reputation for quality service, safety, and teamwork. We are currently seeking a reliable and hands-on Yard Person to join our Wacol Service team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, being outdoors, and working around machinery, while playing an important role in keeping our yard and workshop running smoothly.

About the Role

Reporting to the Service Foreman, the Yard Person is responsible for maintaining an organised, safe, and efficient yard and warehouse environment. This is a varied, hands-on role that supports the Service, Parts, and Workshop teams and requires flexibility, initiative, and a strong focus on safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate and manoeuvre Kubota machinery, forklifts, and other equipment around the yard
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-organised yard and warehouse
• Load and unload machinery, attachments, and stock from trucks and trailers
• Perform basic machine inspections and pre-delivery checks (fluids, tyres, general condition)
• Clean, wash, and detail machinery for sale or service
• Assist with stock storage, labelling, and basic inventory management
• Provide labour support to the workshop and assist the Storeperson as required
• Undertake deliveries and process basic paperwork
• Assist customers in the yard and help with loading/unloading when needed
• Follow all workplace health and safety requirements and maintain a hazard-free environment

What You’ll Bring

• Experience working in a yard, warehouse, workshop, or similar hands-on environment
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and machinery (HR LF licence preferred)
• Open car licence (essential)
• Strong awareness of health and safety and safe manual handling practices
• A practical, can-do attitude with willingness to learn new tasks
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Basic computer literacy
• A team-focused approach and good communication skills
