We have an exciting opportunity for a Yard Operative MHE Driver L2 based in Hull!

Jewson Timber Supplies (Stark Group) a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is on the hunt for a Yard Operative MHE Driver L2 based in Hull who's as passionate about great service as we are.

Hours – This role operates on a rotating shift pattern:

• Week 1: Monday to Thursday 6am – 2pm and Friday 6am – 1pm

• Week 2: Monday – Thursday 1.30pm – 9.30pm and Friday 12.30pm – 7.30pm

Key Responsibilities  

As a Warehouse/Yard Operative MHE Driver L2 will have one of the most important roles within the branch network. To support the team you will;

• Get to know our product lines we supply 1100 lines

• Help to prepare customer orders, load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a Fork Lift Truck to minimise manual handling (training will be provided)

• Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products

• Maintain stock levels in the yard area, carrying out regular stock counts

• Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work

• Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement
