Yard Maintenance & Material Handling Technician

• Pay: $22.00 per hour
• Location: Dallas, TX 75236
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Start Time: 5:00 a.m. until work is complete
• Primarily an outdoor position
• During inclement weather, work will shift to indoor cleaning and facility support.

What You'll Do

• Maintain yard cleanliness by picking up trash, scrap materials, raw materials, and other debris.
• Operate a ride-on sweeper and blower to keep the yard and surrounding areas clean.
• Perform general cleanup and manual labor as needed.
• Operate a forklift to dump modules and assist with material handling.
• Receive and unload incoming pallets and other materials.
• Keep outdoor work areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
• Provide coverage for employee breaks and PTO when properly trained to operate skid steers and wheel loaders.
• Assist with general yard and facility support duties as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Additional duties may be assigned as needed to support overall operations.

• Willingness to perform physical, hands-on work throughout the shift.
• Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to obtain training.
• Previous experience operating skid steers, wheel loaders, or industrial equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to safety and maintaining a clean work environment.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

This position is primarily outdoors and requires working in changing weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and rain.

Job requirements include:

• Standing and walking for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Performing repetitive cleanup and manual labor tasks.
• Operating industrial equipment and machinery.
• Working around moving vehicles, equipment, and materials.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.

During inclement weather, employees will focus on indoor cleaning and facility support activities.
