About the Role:

We are recruiting a Yard Labourer/Operator to work at our Montrose site. This position plays a key role in the day-to-day operations of the yard and servicing our customers.

This is a full-time ongoing position, with an immediate start available. This position is rostered for our day shift which is Monday - Friday, with some Saturday work available.

Duties will likely include (but not be limited to):

• Assist in unloading the timber vehicles that come into the yard
• Driving a forklift to unload trucks and move heavy items around the yard
• Driving and refuelling the Fire Truck
• General site cleaning, maintaining tidy spaces and cleaning vehicles and plant equipment
• Ensuring all safety procedures and protocols are followed

To be successful you will need:

• Forklift license
• HR License
• Watercart Ticket
• Excavator licence - Preferred but not essential
• Loader licence - Preferred but not essential
• Demonstrated experience in a similar position
• Demonstrated ability to use mobile devices (tablets/smartphones)
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with different stakeholders via UHF, phone, and in-person
• Australian Driver’s License
• Right to work in Australia
• Police check and pre-employment medical including alcohol and drug screening (to be completed during the recruitment process).
