Performs a variety of different tasks including loading, unloading, and management of materials in our Fredericktown location that support the successful completion of our projects. Exposure is provided to the various trades that perform the work in the field.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, and help manage material that support our construction projects.
• Operate Cat, Case, or Hyster forklifts of various sizes.
• Receive requests and pull orders for the field in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform tasks involving the use of hands and tools.
• Moving material from storage yards within the Fredericktown area.
• Knowing how to properly secure equipment down for transport.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Good communication skills.
• Good Driving record with Valid license
• Load securement knowledge.
• Work independently or in a group.
• Work rapidly and accurately.
• Climb and maintain balance on ladders.
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at heights as required. (Must be physically able to perform work tasks)
• Lift and carry objects weighting 50-70 pounds.
• Follow specific directions.
• Stand and walk for long periods.
• Read and understand measuring tools.
• Perform other routine duties as directed by supervisor.
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions/all seasons.
