Job Description

We're looking for a reliable and safety-focused Yard & Forklift Operator to join our busy Pokeno team. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating forklifts, and being part of a team that keeps products moving efficiently and safely.

You'll play an important role in yard operations, stock control, product handling, and supporting site activities while maintaining our high standards of safety, quality, and customer service.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operating forklifts to safely move products throughout the site
• Loading and unloading trucks accurately and efficiently
• Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders
• Receiving and processing inwards goods
• Maintaining stock accuracy and assisting with stocktakes
• Keeping the yard clean, organised, and safe at all times
• Completing daily equipment checks and reporting maintenance issues
• Supporting production and operational teams as required
• Following all health, safety, quality, and environmental procedures

What You'll Bring

• Current Forklift Licence and F Endorsement
• Experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, construction, or similar environment
• Strong commitment to health and safety
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual handling tasks
• Reliability, initiative, and a strong work ethic
