Duties & Responsibilities

Workshop Duties

• Attend to all mechanical equipment within the fleet, esp. trailers, gensets, and trucks, ensuring their structural, aesthetic, mechanical and technical fitness
• Facilitate and assist with ensuring that every repair is accompanied by a correct and complete job card as per respective SOP
• Assist with repairs of trailers, trucks, and gensets
• Assist with ongoing and periodical asset verification and stock takes
• General duties
• May be required to work overtime, including on weekends and public holidays
• Act on any lawful and reasonable task/instruction given by the supervisor or management

Health and Safety

• Ensure all health and safety regulations are constantly adhered to as per company handbook and workshop SOP’s
• Use correct PPE as per company policy and workshop SOP
• Actively contributes to a healthy and safe working environment

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Academic and Professional Qualifications and Experience Required for this position

• 3 Years of relevant experience in a similar role and environment
• Working command of the English language (speak, read, write)

• This is a physically demanding, active role and not office based
