Job Description

Our client is a global financial services platform focused on expanding access to affordable financial products in emerging markets. The organisation leverages data, analytics, and digital channels to reduce the cost and complexity of delivering financial services at scale.
The company partners with ecosystem players, including telecom operators, financial institutions, and digital payments providers, to design and deploy innovative credit and financial inclusion solutions. Its focus is on building high-impact products that address the needs of underserved and underbanked populations.
Our client operates across multiple regions and brings together a diverse team of experienced professionals with strong backgrounds in financial services, technology, and large-scale program execution.
Key Responsibilities  · Lead end-to-end program management for MTN MoMo engagements across WCA markets. · Serve as the central coordination point between MTN Group/country teams, partner banks, and our client's internal functions. · Drive country-level rollout plans, including prioritisation, timelines, and resource alignment.  · Manage integration programs across MTN MoMo platforms, our client's internal digital lending systems, and bank core/loan management systems.  · Ensure alignment on product design, credit policy, risk sharing, and operational workflows with bank partners.  · Monitor program performance, portfolio health, and unit economics across markets.  · Support regulatory engagement and ensure programs meet local compliance and reporting requirements.  · Facilitate structured governance, reporting, and escalation mechanisms. · Enable scale by standardising processes, documentation, and playbooks across MTN markets. 
Key Stakeholders  · MTN MoMo Group and operating company teams · Partner banks and financial institutions  · Internal Technology, Risk, Analytics, Product, and Operations teams · External partners and regulators (as applicable) 
Candidate Profile  · 6–18 years of experience in customer management or program management or portfolio management within fintech, telecom, or financial services. · Direct experience working with MTN, mobile money platforms, digital banking, or large regional operators is a strong advantage. · Strong understanding of digital credit, lending platforms, or embedded finance.  · Experience managing multi-country, multi-stakeholder programs in emerging markets. · High ownership, structured thinking, and execution discipline. · Strong communication skills with senior external partners.
Please note that the salary package is flexible depending on the value the successful candidate brings.
