BASIC FUNCTIONS
Performs diagnostic imaging studies in Radiography.
SCOPE
Performs radiologic procedures and casting/splinting at the technical level. Assists with department training.

The job holder must demonstrate current competencies applicable to job position.
STANDARD OF QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree and/or completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
Experience: Minimum one-year experience as a radiologic technologist
Requirements: Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification; current Indiana State Radiologic Technologist license, CPR Certification
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS
Standing 4-6 hours/day. Repeated walking, stooping, and bending. Requires the ability to move equipment and transfer patients. Occasional stress in working with tense patients.
Requires use of computer equipment. Work requires the ability to walk, sit, stand, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch.
ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS
Exposure to radiation, communicable diseases and other conditions common to radiology setting.
