As a section manager for ADAS Parking Systems and Software, you will be responsible for leading the team for software solutions for Japanese OEM customers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the team in developing and debugging parking assistance software features (Park pilot, mis-acceleration avoidance system, emergency brake system, automated parking assistance system)
  • Participate in technical discussions, internal and with our customers
  • Create a vision, mission, and strategy for the team and drive organizational advancements
  • Lead the team in the development of new, innovative parking functions for Japan
  • Drive further technical innovations and advance quality further
  • Develop our talents and lead the competence management for the team
  • Take care of budget and resource management together

ADAS駐車支援システムおよびソフトウェアチームのセクションマネージャーとして、日本の顧客向けソフトウェアソリューションのチームを率いる職務となります。職務内容は以下の通りです:

  • 駐車支援ソフトウェア機能(パークパイロット、誤発進抑制システム、緊急ブレーキシステム、自動駐車支援システム等)の開発とデバッグにおいてチームを主導する。
  • 社内外および顧客との技術的な議論に参加
  • チームのビジョン、ミッション、戦略を策定し、組織の進歩を推進
  • 日本向けに新しい革新的な駐車機能の開発においてチームを主導
  • さらなる技術革新を推進し、品質向上を図る
  • 人材を育成し、チームのコンピテンシーマネジメントを主導
  • 予算およびリソース管理

Qualifications

Your Profile (Must):

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in automotive software development
  • Understanding of ADAS technologies, including sensor fusion, perception, planning, and control
  • Experience with software development lifecycle and testing methodologies
  • Knowledge of automotive safety standards and regulations (e.g. ASIL, SOTIF, ISO, UN-Reg) and software development processes (e.g., ASPICE)
  • Good communication skills in both English (business level) and Japanese (JLPT N1 or native)
  • 2+ years of management experience incl. team coordination

Your Profile (Preferred):

  • Experience with parking assistance systems or ADAS features
  • Familiarity with automotive communication protocols
  • Experience with ultrasonic sensors or camera-based systems
  • Understanding of vehicle dynamics and control systems
  • Experience in customer-facing technical roles
  • Project management experience, including:
  • Leading technical projects in automotive software development
  • Stakeholder management with customers
  • Project planning and scheduling as well as risk management and mitigation
