
Position: Xactimate Expert
Number of hours: 30-40 hours/week
Schedule: New Jersey Timezone (EST)
Prepare and complete detailed and accurate estimates using Xactimate software.
Interpret scopes of work from adjusters, contractors, and other documentation sources.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure estimates meet quality and compliance standards.
Review and analyze documentation (photos, sketches, reports) to support estimate creation.
Provide written summaries and justifications for each estimate as needed.
Stay up to date with pricing changes, software updates, and industry best practices.
Ensure timely delivery of estimates and revisions in accordance with project timelines.
Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Xactimate software is a MUST
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Excellent writing, documentation, and organizational skills
High attention to detail and accuracy in estimating and reporting
Ability to work independently and manage multiple estimates or projects
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace is a plus
Background in property insurance, restoration, or construction industries
Familiarity with estimating guidelines and insurance claim processes.
