Job Location: 5643 Copley Drive Ste 220 - San Diego , CA 92111
Salary Range: $28.00 - $32.00 Hourly

- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations as ordered by physicians.
- Position patients and adjust imaging equipment to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
- Verify patient identity and review physician orders prior to performing procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
- Follow radiation safety protocols and utilize appropriate shielding to minimize exposure.
- Ensure imaging equipment is properly maintained and functioning correctly.
- Review images for quality and accuracy before submitting them for interpretation.
- Accurately document procedures and patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.
- Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and HIPAA regulations.
- Assist radiologists and other healthcare providers as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized imaging room and ensure equipment is ready for use.
- Respond to patient needs and provide compassionate care throughout the imaging process.

Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field required.
- Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Valid California Radiologic Technologist license issued by the California Department of Public Health Radiologic Health Branch.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent preferred.
