Location: Gate Parkway – Jacksonville, FL
Schedule: Part-Time | Weeknights & Weekends
- Monday–Friday: 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Sunday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Precision Imaging Centers is seeking an ARRT-registered X-Ray Technologist / CT Tech Assistant to join our Gate Parkway team in Jacksonville, FL.
This part-time position combines diagnostic X-ray responsibilities with hands-on support for our CT Technologists. The ideal candidate is dependable, compassionate, and comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment while providing exceptional patient care.

What You'll Do
X-Ray Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations while maintaining high standards of image quality and patient safety
- Properly position patients and operate radiographic equipment
- Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to imaging protocols
CT Tech Assistant Responsibilities
- Assist CT Technologists with patient preparation, positioning, and exam setup
- Start peripheral IVs and assist with contrast administration in accordance with established protocols and authorized scope of practice
- Complete patient screening and review relevant medical history, allergies, and contrast safety information
- Explain exam preparation and procedures to patients to help ensure their comfort and understanding
- Assist patients on and off the CT table and provide support throughout their visit
- Prepare CT rooms, equipment, and supplies between examinations
- Monitor patients for signs of discomfort or adverse reactions and promptly notify the CT Technologist
- Maintain infection control, patient safety, and proper documentation standards
- Work collaboratively with CT Technologists to maintain efficient patient flow
This is a combined X-Ray Technologist and CT Tech Assistant position. CT responsibilities involve assisting the CT Technologist rather than independently performing CT examinations.
Qualifications
- ARRT(R) registered Radiologic Technologist (required)
- Current Florida Radiologic Technologist license (required)
- Current BLS certification (required)
- Strong patient care, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a busy outpatient setting
- Venipuncture experience preferred
- Previous CT experience is a plus, but CT certification is not required for this assistant role
