Make an impact with our Creative Marketing team as a Written Communications Specialist. This diverse team of professionals thinks outside the box to develop creative and innovative marketing programs. As a trusted advisor, you’ll produce exceptional marketing solutions, from concept to production, and you’ll collaborate on campaigns that promote, protect and position MNP’s brand.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and adapt written communications for thought leadership, web, advertising, sales collateral, video, and social media
• Protect and contribute to a consistent voice for the Firm, ensuring all communications adhere to MNP’s brand standards
• Collaborate with writers, strategists, designers, and digital marketing specialists, and subject matter experts to provide value-added insight on messaging and creative strategy
• Conduct interviews and research to ensure content is accurate and current
• Work closely with digital marketing to build search-optimized content (SEO)
• Maintain awareness of the Canadian Press Style and Institute of Chartered Accountants of Canada standards and stipulations for rules in advertising
• Maintain competitive industry knowledge
• Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Creative Writing or Journalism
• 3 - 5 years of written communication experience
• Strong understanding of journalistic best practices and marketing principles
• Demonstrated experience developing SEO and thought leadership content
• Demonstrated experience using generative AI as a writing companion
• Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Professional services or agency experience is considered an asset
