Job Information:
Coordinates patient care needs related to wound, skin and integmentary system in ambulatory setting.
Provides direct patient care and plan of care coordination.
Supervises wound center staff as directed by Nurse Director.
Responsible for office management, staffing, performance improvement activities, customer satisfaction and quality and safety as directed by Nurse Director.
Case management of all wound center patients.
Position Responsibilities:
• Direct Patient Care- Registered Nurse- Assessment, Treatment and Evaluation of Wound Care.
• Case Management coordination and documentation.
• Office Coordination to include staffing and assignments, performance improvement, customer satisfaction, quality and safety projects, employee performance improvement, wound center billing and reimbursement.
• Nursing Leadership- representative for assigned committees, meetings, vendor/sales representative liaison, preceptor for new staff, coordination of orientee/student schedules.
Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:
3 years experience as RN in acute care, long term care, home care or ambulatory setting.
Wound Care Specialty experience desired.
Nursing Leadership experience and past position beyond staff level preferred.
Required Education:
Graduate from accredited school of nursing. Associate degree (AASN) required, BSN preferred.
Wound Specialty Education preferred from accredited program. (WOCN, WCC)
Training/Certifications/Licensure:
RN license in State of NJ.
Board Certification in Wound Care (CWCN, WCC, CWS, CWCA) desired within 1 year of hire.
BLS certification.
Hourly Rate: $40.62 - $63.16
