Looking for a nursing role that offers work-life balance while allowing you to make a meaningful impact? St. Bernard Nursing & Rehab is seeking a compassionate Wound Care Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about wound care and wants a consistent weekday schedule in a supportive skilled nursing environment.
Monday–Friday schedule
8:00 AM–4:30 PM
No weekends

Make a lasting impact on residents' healing and quality of life
Assess, monitor, and treat residents with wounds and skin integrity concerns.
Develop and implement individualized wound care treatment plans.
Perform wound assessments, measurements, and dressing changes.
Collaborate with physicians, therapy, and nursing staff to promote optimal healing.
Educate residents, families, and staff on wound prevention and treatment.
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with clinical standards and regulations.
Lead initiatives focused on pressure injury prevention and skin health.
Current, active Louisiana RN or LPN license
Wound care experience in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, hospital, or long-term care setting preferred.
Wound Care Certification (WCC/WOCN) is a plus but not required.
Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
A passion for delivering exceptional resident-centered care.
