Wound Care Nurse Practitioner for our Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF)

Compensation: $110,000 - $145,000 Annual Salary

Position Description

You will serve as the wound care provider across several skilled nursing facilities in the Harrison, AR area, assessing and managing wounds, leading bedside treatment and partnering with facility nursing teams on healing plans. This is a full time, in person position, Monday through Friday, with no nights, no weekends and no on-call. You are employed by our provider network rather than the facilities, so you practice independently of facility staff while taking part in patient care meetings. New graduates are welcome to apply and will be trained.

Qualifications:

• Active Arkansas NP license and DEA registration
• Board certification as an FNP, AGNP or AGACNP
• Interest or experience in wound care, skilled nursing or geriatric primary care
• Comfortable traveling between nearby facilities during the week

Responsibilities:

• Assess, stage and manage wounds for residents across several skilled nursing facilities
• Perform bedside debridement and apply evidence based treatment plans
• Partner with facility nursing teams on prevention and healing protocols
• Document in the facility EMR and participate in patient care meetings
