This role is responsible for overseeing the execution of marketing agency practice strategies, ensuring adherence to established policies and standards and supporting HP marketers to have the best collaboration experiences with key agency partners. The role takes the lead in working with and managing our external agency relationships. Additionally, the role involves fostering collaboration with cross-functional teams, contributing to leading and managing strategic discussions, operational excellence and relationships with key agency partners.
Responsibilities
• Oversees execution of marketing agency practice strategies leveraging set policies, standards, and direction across the assigned business area.
• Project manages content creation work with external agency partners and manages partner relationship on operational topics
Develops and manages project management processes and artefacts
• Drives and ensures collaboration with the cross functional teams including worldwide marketing teams, regional marketing partners and procurement
• Oversees definition, writing, and testing of briefs and scope documents and ensures consistent execution across the mix.
• Enables the discussion on vetting and updating agency rosters and assessing new vendors, in collaboration with procurement.
• Contributes innovative ideas and leads large cross-functional teams, exercising independent judgment to solve unique and complex problems impacting the business.
• Acts as a functional manager within area of expertise, developing strategy and setting functional policy and direction.
• Provides mentorship and guidance to lower-level employees, thus ensuring the realization of operational and strategic plans.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 12+ years of work experience, preferably in creative agency, agency management, social marketing, content marketing and media, data led planning, or a related field.

The pay range for this role is $130,700 to $205,200 USD annually with additional
opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United
States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience.
