We are on a growth journey – now looking for our next star – a passionate Workshop Supervisor at our Fitment Centre in Kyalami.

About the position

The Workshop Supervisor/Team Leader overseas the Workshop team and ensures that they are performing effectively and satisfied within their roles. The Supervisor position will require you to act in the best interest of the company and ensure that all processes and procedures are followed. You will need to adopt the role as management to ensure that everything runs as a 5-star fitment centre.

As the Workshop Supervisor, you will be required to have ongoing and excellent organizational, administrative, good housekeeping and communication skills, having an interest in leadership as well as keeping management informed of relevant activities.

Your main responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the workshop team to meet customer requirements and maintain high performance standards.
  • Plan and assign daily vehicle fitments, manage workflow, and ensure timely completion.
  • Provide regular performance feedback to management and support staff with technical queries.
  • Oversee quality control of completed work, vehicle inspections, and stock allocation.
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, company policies, and safety standards.
  • Resolve staff issues promptly, escalate when necessary, and foster a positive team dynamic.
  • Train and onboard new employees while identifying and developing talent within the team.
  • Drive continuous improvement by implementing streamlined solutions to enhance efficiency.
