The role

As a Workshop Supervisor Support, you'll play a vital role in enabling the effective day-to-day running of workshop operations. Acting as a key support function to workshop supervisors, you'll take ownership of essential administrative, compliance and coordination activities, allowing frontline leaders to focus on delivering safe, efficient and high-quality engineering outputs.

Day-to-day you'll be required to:

  • Manage data recording, reporting and administration activities that support workshop operations.
  • Conduct compliance checks and maintaining accurate operational records.
  • Coordinate office-based tasks that enable supervisors to remain focused on frontline leadership.
  • Escort visitors and supporting site access requirements in line with security procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement by ensuring documentation and systems are maintained effectively.

The role is based onsite at Lulworth, and the set working times are Monday to Thursday, totalling 37 hours per week.

Essential experience of the Workshop Supervisor Support:

  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience working with SharePoint and digital record management systems.
  • Experience using enterprise resource planning systems or similar business systems.
  • Strong administrative, organisational and data management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications for the Workshop Supervisor Support:

  • Educated to Level 2 within the National Qualifications Framework, such as GCSE grade C/4 or above, NVQ Level 2, or equivalent qualification.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
