What You’ll Do

The Workshop Performance Specialist (POP Delivery) [EB1.1] plays a pivotal role in direct delivery of the Power of Possible (POP) training, The Fedcap Group’s proprietary work-readiness training curriculum across our Service Provider (SP) network. The role includes a post- POP program model development and implementation for SPs. The blended role will support the SP network in meeting employment readiness outcomes.

Reporting to the Senior Workshop Performance Specialist in Fedcap Canada’s Learning and Development team, the Workshop Performance Specialist (POP Delivery) will complement an existing POP Workshop Performance Specialist Team by providing exemplary POP delivery network-wide in addition to integrating new post-POP support models. Success in this role will be measured through established KPIs described below.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Program Facilitation (75% role)

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Power of Possible philosophy and curriculum, to model excellence in POP delivery across the SP network
  • Lead and/or co-lead at least 10-12 POP sessions per year, supporting 150-200 jobseekers annually, including documentation and case-noting
  • Support Jobseekers through POP delivery in developing stronger confidence, interview, and professional presentation skills, leading to 90% participants reporting improvement in employment readiness
  • Promote and encourage registration of sessions with registration above 15 jobseekers for 70% of scheduled deliveries.

Program Development & Training (15% role)

  • Design and implement 3-4 program models that support jobseekers and promote ongoing engagement with Service Providers after attending POP.
  • Training and supporting post-POP program roll-out through training sessions, supporting with monitoring visits to assess effectiveness with at least 80% of surveyed jobseekers reporting overall satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster a collaborative environment quality and effectiveness.

Administrative Support & Data Management (10% rôle)

  • Maintain, monitor, and document POP sessions delivered by Fedcap Canada and the SP network in Event Management software.
  • Track all jobseeker participation and attendance in POP sessions and post-POP sessions delivered by Fedcap Canada with 100% accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Service Providers and other stakeholders to gather feedback and insights to continuously improve POP training and delivery effectiveness.

You’re a Great Fit for This Role If You Have

  • A Minimum of 2 years of professional experience delivering programming for diverse adult populations.
  • Experience implementing continuous improvement strategies.
  • Prior experience working with adult learners, including those who experience barriers in program access, confidence, and motivation.
  • Access to vehicle for travel to Service Provider sites within Fedcap Canada's catchment areas.
  • Bachelor’s degree in education or Certificate in Adult Education /Adult Learning, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Bilingual French is a plus.
  • High level of cultural competency; ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities, Francophones, Newcomers, Indigenous populations, and Youth with Higher Support Needs.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of handling multiple complex initiatives simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for professional use.
  • Advanced proficiency virtual conferencing platforms, such as Zoom or Teams.
  • Commitment to upholding the mission, vision, and values of Fedcap Canada, with adherence to all agency policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate engaging in-person and virtual training sessions.
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot issues, recommend solutions, and deliver on deadlines with a strong sense of personal accountability.
  • Strong collaborative and teamwork skills, including consensus-building and adherence to standardized approaches.
  • Demonstrable ability to effectively engage and train a wide variety of learning styles.
  • Strong analytical thinking skills to identify training needs and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Highly adaptable with ability to adjust in a fast-paced training environment.

Compensation:

$50,000 - $65,000 (CAD)
