Business area Mining is a global leading supplier of equipment and tools, parts, service, digital solutions and sustainability-driving technologies for the mining and construction industries. Applications include rock drilling, rock cutting, loading and hauling, tunneling and quarrying.
The Workshop Manager is responsible for the general management, planning, and resourcing of all rebuild and repair activities within the Elko Workshop in the support of the local Sandvik USA region. The role also focuses on improving customer perception and developing efficient workshop operations that ensure added value to the customer base.

This role is based primarily at the Sandvik Elko Workshop Branch in Elko, Nevada and requires regular presence in the workshop, yard, office, and customer-facing areas. The position operates in an industrial heavy equipment repair environment involving machine rebuilds, component repairs, rock drill repairs, welding/fabrication, parts movement, lifting activities, customer inspections, and quality verification. Standard schedule is generally Monday through Friday during normal business hours; however, additional hours may be required to support production schedules, customer commitments, urgent repairs, audits, safety matters, or operational priorities. Occasional travel to customer mine sites, vendor locations, training events, and regional business meetings may be required. The role requires compliance with Sandvik EHS requirements, customer site requirements, MSHA/site-specific training where applicable, and use of required PPE. The employee must be able to safely access workshop and yard areas, participate in inspections, support incident or hazard reviews, and work around mobile equipment, cranes, tools, parts, oil/grease, noise, and other normal workshop conditions.
Compensation Range: The salary range is expected to be from $119,840 - $140,000
