The Role

Due to significant growth, MCA Engineering is looking for a Workshop Leading Hand Boilermaker with 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role. This is a fantastic relocation opportunity for someone who’s ready to take the next step in their career—and enjoy a new lifestyle in a regional town with big

You'll lead and mentor a team of skilled tradespeople and apprentices in our workshop. You must bring hands-on leadership experience, a focus on safety, and a passion for the trade.

Responsibilities:

• Leading a team of trades and apprentices in a workshop environment
• Daily reporting and documentation
• Overseeing and reviewing quality of work
• WHS - Proven ability to always adhere to safety procedures and maintain a safe, work environment
• A strong work ethic and a keen eye for detail
• A commitment to quality and pride in your work
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

About you:

• Cert III Trade Fabrication at a minimum
• White Card
• Forklift license and confined space ticket – Would be an advantage
• Experience as a Supervisor / Leading Hand within a mining company would be viewed favourably
• Positive attitude
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol testing.
