Job Description

The Workshop Foreman is responsible for leading the direct work in the workshop. Supervision of daily staff activities. They need to ensure that the work is carried out according to applicable instructions, rational and economic way for both the customer and the company. Ensuring high level of customer satisfaction is met consistently. Ensure relevant technical literature is in place providing guidance where required. - Ensure that Technicians comply with Scania Standards. - Ensure necessary control of workshop equipment, vehicles and special tools. - Observe and follow directives given in policies, instructions as well as SHEQ. Address any issues of poor workmanship immediately. - End to end management of team assigned.

Applicant must meet these minimum requirements:

  • Qualified Diesel Technician with Trade certificate
  • 3-5 years technical workshop experience, of which experience in supervising/Team Leader in a workshop environment would be an added advantage.
  • Valid Heavy Vehicle licence
  • Computer literacy - MS Office, Scania systems
  • Medically Fit
