
The pay range is $58,100.00 - $104,600.00

As a Project Manager at the Target Creative Workshop, you will primarily be responsible for the facilitation and management of projects creating set elements, assets, and prototypes and displays for Target photo shoots, In-store fixtures, and/or experiential events. Collaborating with multiple internally managed teams, part and full-time contractors, and external vendors. You will oversee the execution and production of projects and be the point person for facilitating project advancement, documentation, risk mitigation, and communication. Balancing business and creative requirements to prioritize and guide deliverables that create an experience that delights and inspires partners, clients, and guests.
Project Planning & Execution Lead end-to-end planning and execution of creative projects from concept through delivery. Partner with teams to remove roadblocks and drive efficient, high-quality outcomes.
Stakeholder Management: Build strong partnerships across internal teams, clients, and external contributors to ensure alignment on goals, expectations, and deliverables.
Team Coordination Coordinate cross-functional teams to develop project plans, align resources, and ensure seamless day-to-day execution.
Budget & Timeline Management Establish and manage timelines, budgets, and milestones. Monitor progress and adjust plans to keep work on track.
Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet creative, technical, and brand standards through regular reviews and stakeholder alignment.
Risk Management: Identify risks early and proactively implement solutions to protect timelines, budgets, and scope.
Communication: Maintain clear, consistent communication on project status, next steps, and key decisions. Facilitate meetings, reviews, and approvals with the ability to influence across all stakeholder levels.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Track project progress and performance. Lead post-project reviews to identify learnings and improve future workflows.

About You
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
2-4 years of project management experience in creative, marketing, production, or fabrication environments
Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships
Clear and confident communicator, able to influence across levels and teams
Comfortable balancing creative and operational priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Smartsheet, Workfront, Gantt, RACI, Excel)
Familiarity with both physical production and digital marketing workflows preferred
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
