We operate from a network of over 50 depots and maintain more than 33,000 km of road.

We are seeking a Works Compliance Coordinator to join our Transport & Infrastructure team. This role plays a critical part in coordinating and tracking third‑party and permitted works to ensure all contractual, safety, and operational compliance obligations are met.

You will be the central point of coordination between TMC, inspectors, subcontractors, and internal teams; ensuring works are properly created, tracked, inspected, rectified, and closed out within required timeframes.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage TMC-issued work and permit lists

  • Create and manage third‑party jobs in AMIS and track them to completion

  • Coordinate inspections and follow up rectifications and non-conformances

  • Liaise with third parties, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to achieve compliance outcomes

  • Escalate unresolved compliance issues in line with contractual requirements

  • Coordinate and manage third‑party claims from investigation through to close‑out

  • Maintain complete, accurate, and audit‑ready compliance records

  • Identify trends and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

  • Integrate Zero Harm principles across all activities

What you’ll bring

  • Experience working with work order or asset management systems (AMIS, Maximo, SAP or similar)

  • Strong coordination and administration skills with the ability to manage high‑volume, time‑critical workflows

  • Confident liaising with external stakeholders to resolve issues and drive outcomes

  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

  • Ability to work autonomously while managing competing priorities

  • Exposure to infrastructure, road maintenance, utilities, or construction environments (desirable)

  • Experience supporting claims, investigations, or compliance processes (desirable)
