The role

As the Workplace Manager, reporting to the Head of Facilities – APAC, you will play a pivotal role in the daily operations of our Australian offices. You’ll be a visible and trusted presence in our Sydney office, ensuring our people, spaces, and systems are supported, efficient, and thriving. Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead workplace and facilities projects, including office moves, refurbishments, and vendor management.

  • Ensure compliance with local building regulations.

  • Partner with central support teams across operations, risk, environment, travel, and health & safety.

  • Coach, support, and develop workplace team members, creating a connected, resilient, and well‑supported team culture across Australian offices.

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with staff, partners, and business leaders.

  • Manage a team of Office Coordinators and Client Services Assistants across three offices.

  • Act as a visible, hands‑on leader in the Sydney office, providing practical support to Office Coordinators and Reception when required, particularly during peak periods or resourcing gaps.

  • Continuously review and uplift workplace processes to improve consistency, efficiency, and experience for staff and stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 5+ years’ experience in facilities or workplace management (or similar), including 2+ years in a supervisory role.

  • Strong project management capability and a proven track record of delivering change.

  • Procurement and commercial management experience.

  • A collaborative mindset with the confidence to challenge constructively and solve problems.

  • Experience in a top-tier corporate or professional services environment.

  • A bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not essential).

  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office and workplace management systems (e.g. Condeco or similar).

  • Resilience, excellent judgement, and the ability to move quickly while remaining calm, structured, and measured under pressure.
